A bit about me

I'm an award-winning picture book author and my stories are often inspired by real-world events or experiences.

I've always loved languages and literature and studied French, German and linguistics at Cambridge University. After reading hundreds of picture books to my children (and some of those hundreds of times...), I started writing my own stories.

I'm an author ambassador for Bring Me A Book Hong Kong, the leading family literacy charity in Hong Kong.

I was born in the UK and have lived in France, Belgium and Hong Kong. I speak French, German and just enough Cantonese that I won’t get lost or go hungry...

I've spent the last 15 years in Hong Kong, where I live with my family.
